Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Returns To Magic Kingdom This Fall

While spring just bloomed, it’s never to early to look ahead towards fall. The dates for this year’s Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom® Park have been announced.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a Halloween-themed special event held on select dates in Magic Kingdom® Park. Purchase of an additional event admission ticket is required to attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

During Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Halloween costumes. Even better, you can collect delicious candy as you trick-or-treat around Magic Kingdom Park.

In addition to many favorite Disney attractions, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is filled with special entertainment, including:

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

  • "Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular" - a Cinderella Castle forecourt stage show, will take place exclusively at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this fall. "Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular" features the mischievous Sanderson Sisters from Disney's "Hocus Pocus" as they return to the mortal world for one night during the Halloween season to cast a spell on everyone in the Magic Kingdom Park. The show also includes appearances by the Disney villains, and features dancers, projections and special effects.
  • Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade - including Disney Characters and the stars of the Haunted Mansion attraction. The parade begins with a spook-tacular ride by the Headless Horseman.
  • Happy HalloWishes - a spectacular fireworks show where the Disney Villains go trick-or-treating in the sky.
  • Many favorite Disney Characters and Disney Villains in special Halloween costumes.
  • Special lighting, music and theming effects transforms special areas of Magic Kingdom Park into happy haunted hollows.

The tone of the event is, well, "Not-So-Scary", and is appropriate for children of all ages.

Costume Guidelines
New for 2016, the costuming guidelines for special events in our theme parks have been revised. While costumed attire may be worn, Guests ages 14 and older are strongly discouraged from wearing layered costumes or costume props that surround the entire body as they may be subject to additional security screening. Additionally, costumes may not contain any weapons that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.

  • Disney reserves the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that is considered inappropriate or attire that could detract from the experience of other Guests.
  • All Guests may dress as their favorite character, but may not pose for pictures or sign autographs for other Guests.
  • Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable or violent.
  • Costumes may not contain any weapons that resemble or could easily be mistaken for an actual weapon.
  • Costumes may not contain sharp objects, pointed objects or materials that may accidentally strike another Guest.
  • Guests who do not adhere to these guidelines may be refused entry into, and/or removed from, unless his or her costume can be modified to meet the above standards.

For Guests ages 13 and under:

  • Costumes and some masks may be worn, as long as the mask does not cover the entire face and eyes are visible.

For Guests ages 14 and older:

  • Layered costumes or costume props that surround the entire body are strongly discouraged and may be subject to additional security screening.
  • Costumes may not reach or drag on the ground. (e.g. full-length Princess dresses)
  • Capes may be worn if the length does not go below the waist.
  • Themed T-shirts, blouses, sweatshirts, and hats are acceptable.
  • Acceptable accessories include: transparent wings, plastic light sabers, toy swords, and tutus. Headwear may be worn as long as it does not cover the face.
  • May not wear masks of any kind.

Table Service Dining
Make mealtime part of the magic with dining experiences that serve up great food, fun and fantasy. During the specially ticketed Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, three of the most popular and engaging table service restaurants in Magic Kingdom Park are open for dinner: Be Our Guest, Cinderella's Royal Table and Crystal Palace.

Sweeten your night with a scary-good premium experience at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!

On select evenings from Friday, September 2 through Monday, October 31, enjoy Mickey's "Boo-To-You" Halloween Paradefrom a special reserved Main Street, U.S.A. location. Experience fun, frightful floats and kooky-spooky Disney Characters dressed in their Halloween finest—followed by a private dessert party with to-die-for views of the Happy HalloWishes fireworks bursting above Cinderella Castle!

At a table draped in black tablecloth with a flickering jack-o'-lantern, dine on Halloween-themed cupcakes and desserts prepared that same day by our pastry chef, with a bountiful buffet of sweet treats like chocolate-dipped strawberries, chocolate mousse, ice cream, cheeses and fresh, seasonal fruits. Make a toast to the best ghost at your table with sparkling cider, signature lemonades, specialty Halloween drinks, hot chocolate, coffee or tea—and then marvel as the sky above explodes with color, music and light!

The Happy HalloWishes Dessert Premium Package costs US $79 for adults or US $47 for children (ages 3 to 9), plus tax. A separate Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket is also required and is not included in the price of the package.

  • Guests who have purchased the Happy HalloWishes Dessert Premium Package may check in from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Will Call booth outside the Magic Kingdom Park Main Entrance, where they will receive a credential for identification.
  • Starting at 7:30 p.m., Guests will meet at the parade viewing area located by the flag pole in Town Square (inside the park after you pass under the train station) to see Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade, which will start at 8:35 p.m.
  • After the parade, Guests will be escorted to Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant, the location for both the dessert party and the Happy HalloWishes fireworks viewing at 10:00 p.m. Guests who miss the parade viewing can check in directly atTomorrowland Terrace Restaurant at 9:30 p.m.
  • This premium package is only offered on select dates during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Advanced reservations are highly recommended.
  • A Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Ticket is also required and is not included in the price of this package.
  • The viewing location for the Mickey's 'Boo-To-You" Halloween Parade is outdoor, uncovered and standing-room only. Seating is not available for the parade viewing. Wheelchairs and ECV's can be accommodated. Seating will be available at the dessert party on a first-come, first-served basis—but every table has a great view of Cinderella Castle!
  • In the event of inclement weather, the parade and fireworks may be delayed or cancelled. However, the dessert party will occur regardless of the weather.
  • Credential identification is non-transferrable and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.
  • Disney dining plan entitlements may not be redeemed for this event.
