Pools at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World by Agent Carly

Four Seasons Resort Orlando , Small World Vacations Agent Education

This summer, my family embarked on a Disney World vacation and for a change, we decided to end our stay at the Four Season Resort Orlando  at Walt Disney World.

We got to our room and this was our view. We quickly changed into swimsuits, gathered enough swim gear for a week, and dashed down to the pool area. It was as if the heavens opened up and a light was shining and all the fairies in the world were singing. It was epic alright…completely, epic-ly awesome. My kids ran off in every direction and we stayed and played for hours.

The Four Seasons has 5 incredible water areas.

The Oasis -  is the adult pool, which is for ages 18 and above and overlooks the lake. It is separated from the other pools for a bit more tranquility and offers underwater music.

There is a separate Jacuzzi as well.

The Explorer Pool - The second area is the family pool, that also overlooks the lake. It’s an infinity pool with zero entry.  Also equipped with underwater music, this pool is great for adults and children. There is a small slide and plenty of beach chairs surrounding the area.

The Splash Zone -  The third area is the splash zone, where children can play and splash in the fountains that blast, shoot, mist and spray water.

The Drifters - The fourth area, arguably our favorite, is the lazy river.  This river is anything but lazy. Floating along, you will find a waterfall and spray cannons that keep you guessing around every bend.  Take on the rapids and get soaking wet, or laze your way  in the sunshine – you can chose to be as lazy as you’d like.

The Drop - The last area is the water slide. There are two slides, one that is fully enclosed and ends with a big splash, and another one that is open-air with a softer landing.

These five areas are located close to one another and are easy to enjoy in one day. There are beach chairs for sunbathing, and amazing little tented couches and areas scattered throughout for finding some private time and enjoying the shade.

There are private cabanas for rent, as well. Get to the pool early and reserve one for at the family or adult pool for $200 per day. Our cabana included towels, a cabana attendant, some specialty drinks, a fruit bowl and ice water. There was a refrigerator and lounge chairs. Limited menu available including snacks and meals for an additional cost. Prices and amenities subject to change.

We found the Four Seasons to be the perfect companion to our Walt Disney World vacation or a Disney Cruise and it will be a stop on our next vacation. I think there is a teepee waiting for us at the family pool!
