ANAHEIM, Calif. – The new daytime parade, “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” is making its debut at Disney California Adventure Park for Pixar Fest. - To celebrate the stories of Pixar Animation Studios Films, the parade kicks off with an oversized version of the iconic Pixar lamp, adorned with stickers from films such as “Coco,” “Soul”, and “Turning Red”.
- Catch Luca, Alberto, and Giulia from “Luca” and rock out with 4*TOWN and Meilin Lee’s father and friends from “Turning Red” when these characters make their first ever appearances at a Disney Park. - Luca and Alberto from “Luca” appear in this parade in their part-human, part sea-creature forms with blue-green scales and fins as they move between their two worlds.
- The “Soul” float features Joe Gardner’s music students holding a big jazz jam session to celebrate their beloved teacher. The float is adorned with music notes that make up the actual musical track for the song that the class is performing.
- Set to a high-energy soundtrack, the parade’s all-new musical score includes fresh compilations from the various featured Pixar films, including a melodic version of “Spirit of Adventure” from “Up,” a jaunty Italian tune from “Luca” and a finale track that blends the iconic “You’ve Got A Friend In Me” from “Toy Story” with “If I Didn’t Have You” from “Monsters, Inc.”
- The festive parade reaches a crescendo with a medley of fan-favorite characters as Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible and Frozone lead the way on hovercraft vehicles followed by other Pixar dynamic duos like Sulley and Mike Wazowski, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie, and Miguel and Dante. In the fun-filled finale, Woody rides by in a toy truck and waves to friends for a fond farewell.
