Day Three
Day Three began with a delicious character buffet breakfast at 1900 Park Fare.
First Mirabel from ‘Encanto’ stopped by our table to say hi!
Next Tiana came by to tell us about her home in the Bayou and pose for photos.
Aladdin, or should we say Prince Ali, came to our table next to talk about Princess Jasmine and the Genie.
Then Cinderella came over to greet the agents and encouraged everyone to follow your dreams!
Next up on the agenda was Disney Resort site-inspections. Our first stop was Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, where we toured a newly refurbished guest room. This waterfront resort is within walking distance to both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, making it a great location for many families.
Soak in the east-coast boardwalk vibes with the charming guest room details, carnival games and family-friendly nightlife just out your door.
Next we stopped at Disney’s Pop Century Resort to tour the larger-than-life themed Resort. A smart option for travelers on a budget, this Disney Value Resort is on the Skyliner so you can come and go in a jiffy.
This hotel pays tribute to fads from the 1950’s through the 1990’s, with over-the-top trends from the decades on full display.
With a pull-down table bed, guest rooms can convert from living space to sleeping space in mere seconds.
Our last stop of the day was The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort where we toured a newly refurbished cabin. When you enter the resort grounds, you feel as though you’ve left Florida behind and are in the middle of a scenic forest.
The newly finished cabins are a true home away from home – with a separate bathroom, fully stocked kitchen and patio, it’s as if you’re on a vacation from your vacation. Accommodating up to 6 guests, the Cabins are great for larger or extended families looking for more room to spread out.
After our cabin inspection, we gathered for a rootin’ tootin’ good time at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue! This hilarious and rowdy dinner show is held 3 times every evening (4pm, 6:15pm and 8:30pm) at Fort Wilderness’ Pioneer Hall.
We indulged in all-you-can-eat barbecue served family style at the table, including fried chicken, smoked BBQ ribs, baked beans, cole slaw, corn bread and strawberry shortcake. Unlimited draft beer, wine, sangria and soft drinks are included for guests 21 and older. Pricing is a flat rate per person (adult and child rates) and per proximity to stage.
Believe it or not, after a full day we still had the energy to head over for an evening at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in the Magic Kingdom! From Fort Wilderness, it’s a quick 10-minute boat ride directly to the Magic Kingdom. The festive decorations throughout the park got us in the holiday spirit, and we had fun filling up our trick-or-treat bags with candy! We met some spooky characters along the way.
