Disney Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure Park Fact Sheet

ANAHEIM, Calif. (Nov. 15, 2024) – Fun for guests of all ages, Disney Festival of Holidays returns to Disney California Adventure Park as part of Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, Nov. 15, 2024-Jan. 6, 2025. This year, a wider slate of bands and cultural performance groups – including returning favorites and many making their Disneyland Resort debut – perform joyous music and dance across a range of genres. Delightful Festive Food Marketplaces once again serve up delicious bites and beverages to enjoy throughout the holiday season. Disney Festival of Holidays merchandise can be found at Elias & Co. and Merchandise Marketplace. Meanwhile, Disney ¡Viva Navidad! presents daily holiday fun with music, crafts and more.

Engaging entertainment and favorite character encounters

Perfect for kids of all ages and families visiting during the holidays, Disney California Adventure Park features plenty of memorable entertainment offerings – with some appearances from beloved Disney characters – throughout Disney Festival of Holidays, including:

  • “Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season” presents a joyful celebration of the holidays, alongside Mirabel from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Encanto” on Mondays through Fridays outside the entrance to Paradise Gardens Park. This new musical street performance celebrates the enchanting songs from the film, inviting guests to enjoy Mirabel’s own Fiesta de Navidad celebration.
  • “A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel!” celebrates the spirit of the holidays through heartfelt stories and timeless songs in an enchanting tribute to the season on Monday through Friday evenings. Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland delivers glowing performances of classic carols, with a special appearance by Miguel from Pixar Animation Studios’ “Coco.”
  • Santa Claus welcomes visitors to Redwood Creek Challenge Trail through Dec. 24 for souvenir photos and everlasting memories before he heads back toward the North Pole. From Dec. 25 through Jan. 6, 2025, guests may encounter Santa Goofy at this location.
  • “Mickey’s Happy Holidays” presents a cheerful processional with Mickey Mouse and pals as they march to the beat of festive music and holiday rhythms throughout Disney California Adventure Park.
  • The Holiday Toy Drummers march to their own merry beat with holiday cheer for all to hear, performing several times daily in Disney California Adventure Park.

Expanded lineup of live music

This year’s festival features an expanded, rotating program of live bands and cultural performance groups, expanding the festival’s tapestry of diversity and bringing a variety of high-energy seasonal fun across Disney California Adventure Park.

Guests can spot these lively performances at the Paradise Gardens Park, Hollywood Backlot Stage, Hollywood Lounge Stage and Sonoma Terrace. New groups performing include Joy, Klezmer Juice Band, Cassie B and more. Among the returning performance groups are Blue13 Dance Company, Phat Cat Swinger, The Mistletoes and Tina and the Sounds of Celebration!

Delightful, seasonal food and beverage items at select locations

The Festive Food Marketplaces and select dining locations across Disney California Adventure Park feature seasonal comfort dishes that reflect family holiday traditions from many cultures. Some menu items were also inspired by the personal stories of Disney chefs. Foodies and families can look forward to many new and returning menu items at the Festive Food Marketplaces and dining locations across Disney California Adventure Park. Seven marketplaces throughout Disney California Adventure Park feature festive foods and blissful beverages, including a sticky toffee pudding macaron, al pastor pork and pineapple slider, and chilaquiles carnitas torta.

The scannable Sip and Savor Pass**, available for purchase in four-coupon or eight-coupon versions, can be digitally redeemed for select food and nonalcoholic beverages from participating marketplaces and dining locations in Disney California Adventure Park.

Guests can purchase any available Festival Marketplace food and nonalcoholic beverage items at any Festive Food Marketplace. Guests can pick up their order from their respective marketplace locations by presenting their receipt at each location’s pick-up window***. Ask a Cast Member for details.

Vibrant fun at Disney ¡Viva Navidad!

Paradise Gardens is home to the returning Disney ¡Viva Navidad! cultural celebration, which includes daily crafts, specialty dishes at Paradise Garden Grill, live music and décor. Mirabel from “Encanto” may be found greeting guests at Paradise Gardens Park. Other favorite Disney characters making appearances in the area include Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and The Three Caballeros.

The Disney ¡Viva Navidad! street party performs on Saturdays and Sundays through Jan. 5, 2025, featuring The Three Caballeros accompanied by Mexican folklórico dancers and mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers and percussionists, and more.
