Small World Vacations agents have sailed Concierge countless times, and are able to discuss the benefits from pre-arrival through dis-embarkment. They can share personal experience and perks that you may not even know are part of the Concierge treatment. They will listen and answer your questions, and help you make the most of your special vacation.
Below, our agents share tips on the benefits of booking Concierge on a Disney Cruise:
Pre-Arrival Benefits
From Agent Shannon: If you have a Concierge stateroom booked, you will be contacted by the Concierge team to go over the help they can provide prior to your sailing. Concierge guests can, with the assistance of the Concierge team, book their port adventures and onboard activities starting 130 days prior to the cruise. This gives a clear benefit to acquiring those hard to book experiences.
From Agent Angela: Staying Concierge can give you priority access to booking a Cabana on Castaway Cay! If this is important to you, you may want to also consider sailing on one of the ships that has fewer Concierge staterooms, like the Magic or Wonder. The newer ships, like the Wish, have many more Concierge cabins.
From Agent Marion: Alaska is such a popular destination, especially with multigenerational groups, that it is really helpful to have the Shoreside Concierge Team on your side to book those really intimate, bucket-list experiences, such as the Glacier Explorer, dog sledding, or the helicopter rides over the glaciers. Having the team be able to book them for you is invaluable!
From Agent Shannon: Concierge on the Alaskan sailing can have multiple benefits. Having access to the Concierge lounge on the glacier viewing days gives you the best birds eye view on the ship (and you stay warm).
From Agent Mandy: Staying Concierge will provide you access to the Guest Services staff in the lounge throughout the day. They are friendly and knowledgeable and ready to help.
From Agent Jenny: Booking a Concierge stateroom is ideal for shorter itineraries when you consider your time as money. Booking a Concierge stateroom allows guests to be the first guests on the ship on embarkation day, which is then followed by a really nice luncheon in one of the main dining rooms. At this luncheon, the Concierge hosts walk around to meet everyone and assist with any additional onboard activity, adult dining and excursion reservations. Once the luncheon is over, the staterooms are usually ready to drop-off carry-on items.
From Agent Lisa: Concierge has a separate waiting area at the terminal that will have drinks such as water, soda, etc. You will be the first group to board the ship.
Benefits while Sailing
From Agent Jenny: All Concierge guests receive a special welcome treat in their stateroom and then have a stocked mini-fridge with bottled waters and sodas, which is refilled throughout the cruise by stateroom hosts. Having cold drinks always available in the stateroom is so nice!
From Agent Deanna: Concierge guests can participate in a special welcome lunch that includes specialty drinks (including alcoholic beverages, smoothies, etc.).
From Agent Lisa: Approximately 40 minutes before the nightly show in the theatre, a member from the Concierge team will take you in an exclusive entrance so you will be the first to chose your seats. Popcorn is also included at no additional cost.
From Agent Shannon: Concierge guests are put in the priority seating areas of the dining room so they have the best view for any shows.
From Agent Deanna: The Concierge Lounge has food and snack offerings throughout the day beginning at 7am until about 10pm. There is an Open Bar from about 5pm until 10pm. Hours subject to change without notice and may vary depending on ship or itinerary.
From Agent Lisa: Concierge guest have access to complimentary Basic WiFi while sailing.
From Agent Shannon: The amenities in Concierge staterooms, toiletries, robes, slippers, carpet, pillows are all upgraded.
Debarkation Benefits
From Agent Jenny: Concierge guests receive a private escort off the ship for excursions and on debarkation day, rather than having to stand in lines for elevators and in hallways waiting for exit groups to be called. There is nothing like having a special send-off from a Disney Cruise vacation with an elevator being held by the Concierge team and then being able to walk right off the ship!
From Agent Mandy: Concierge is more than the sum of its parts. It definitely is worth the splurge for those who enjoy extra service, space, amenities and upgrades.
