Disney Skyliner Celebrates 5 Years of Taking Guests on Magical Flights Above Walt Disney World Resort

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (Oct. 4, 2024) – Peter Pan is famous for helping his friends fly to Neverland, but did you know Disney Skyliner has taken millions of guests on fantastical aerial flights above The Most Magical Place On Earth over the past five years?

Disney Skyliner, the colorful, character-adorned aerial gondolas at Walt Disney World Resort, debuted on Sept. 29, 2019. This unique, complimentary and state-of-the-art transportation system connects two theme parks and four resort hotels and remains a favorite, must-do experience for young families and adults alike.

“Our guests love Disney Skyliner, and I’m so proud of all the cast members who welcome families every day to experience it,” said Mark Natter, vice president of Transportation Operations. “We’re moving guests with magic and making sure they have memories that last a lifetime.”

The whimsically themed gondolas conveniently connect Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the International Gateway at EPCOT and take flight from a variety of Disney Resorts Collection hotels, including Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort and Disney’s Riviera Resort.

In honor of its fifth anniversary, here are some fun facts about Disney Skyliner:
