May the 4th (Star Wars Day) is an annual fan holiday to celebrate the love for all things Star Wars, and at Disney Parks, there are many ways to make it memorable. From new galactic foods and merchandise to unforgettable entertainment and returning Star Wars favorites, plus upcoming walkthrough videos of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Take a look at some of the top highlights from across the galaxy!
Andor Season 2 Now Streaming on Disney+
“Andor” sets the clock back five years from the events of “Rogue One” to tell the story of the film’s hero, Cassian Andor, and his transformation from disinterested, cynical nobody into a rebel hero on his way to an epic destiny. “Andor” Season 2 will see the characters and their relationships intensify as the horizon of war draws near and Cassian becomes a key player in the Rebel Alliance. Everyone will be tested and, as the stakes rise, the betrayals, sacrifices and conflicting agendas will become profound.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Walkthrough Videos
Guests can take a stroll through Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park– right from the comfort of their homes! They can explore Black Spire Outpost on the Planet Batuu, featuring fan-favorite characters, plus moments and ambient sounds found throughout the land. Guests can also explore a ride-along through Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. This immersive adventure invites guests to a galaxy under siege, where heroes rise and the First Order closes in! They can become one with the Force and stream exclusively on Disney+ starting May the 4th presented by Coca-Cola.
Limited-Time Star Wars Experiences at Disneyland Resort
Guests are in luck because Season of the Force at Disneyland Park is underway through May 11 with exciting entertainment, character moments and more. Debuting during Season of the Force this year, “Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga” is a new nightly projection show in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, showcasing iconic moments from the Skywalker saga with stunning effects and music that transform the spires of Batuu.
And on select nights, “Fire of the Rising Moons” offers a unique view of Disneyland Park firework display with musical accompaniment. Guests can also keep an eye out for the legendary Luke Skywalker, whom they may encounter for a limited time while exploring the planet Batuu.
For more Star Wars fun, Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite returns to Disneyland Park with galactic entertainment, including the Fans of the Force Costume Cavalcade and lightsaber instructional. These after-hours separately ticketed events also feature food and drinks available only during the party, new photo backdrops, after-hours access to select attractions and the rare opportunity to dress in Star Wars-themed costumes.*
Guests won’t want to miss out on a new themed merchandise collection headlined by the Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Zip Up Hoodie, Dark Side Tee and Tumbler. In addition, guests will receive a commemorative credential, guide map and unlimited downloads of Disney PhotoPass digital photos taken during the event.** Tickets are available for events on April 29, May 1 and May 6. Limited-time Galactic Gear from the Outer Rim
Over the centuries, countless lightsabers fell into the hands of smugglers and bounty hunters as remnants of ancient battles and abandoned scrap have been scavenged from the distant reaches of the galaxy’s outer rim.
Now, guests may build them into elegant tools that symbolize the balance of the Force with the “Reclaimed and Reforged” collection. This limited-time offering will be available at Savi’s Workshop in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World starting May 4th, 2025, while supplies last.
Guests should grab their galactic credits because there is a full selection of new products to celebrate Star Wars Day from all corners of the galaxy! Launching on May 4, 2025, the May the 4th Be With You 2025 Collection will arrive at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort. Guests may find a variety of equipment including tees, hats, pins, totes and more to showcase their fandom for the light side or dark side (no judgment here) of the Force.
At Walt Disney World, a virtual queue*** will be in place for this shopping event at Stage 1 Company Store. Guests will need to use the My Disney Experience app to take part in this experience. Guests must also have a valid park admission and, if applicable, a theme park reservation for Disney’s Hollywood Studios to join the virtual queue.
Guests can request to join the virtual queue beginning at 7 a.m. ET on May 4th. To learn more about this virtual queue, guests can visit Disneyworld.com/virtualqueue. Plus, guests can also enjoy the convenient features of merchandise mobile checkout via the My Disney Experience app while shopping! They can scan merchandise items while shopping and pay right on their phones.
Guests should make sure to also keep an eye out for the upcoming Empire Strikes Back 45th Anniversary Collection including apparel such as a long sleeve, tee and crew available starting May 4, 2025, at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort.
In Disney Springs at Walt Disney World and Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort, guests may have the chance to participate in a free make-and-take activity at the LEGO Store where they can assemble a complimentary mini build of Grogu in a hover pram, while supplies last.
Those visiting Disney Springs can also enjoy Star Wars-related trivia. Or, if guests find themselves at the Downtown Disney District, they should be sure to check out the interactive LEGO mural wall and the pop-up retail display featuring newly released LEGO building sets. These fun experiences are available from May 2nd to May 4th, between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. local time at both locations.
Galactic Goodies from Across the System
Guests can jump to lightspeed and head to Disney Parks for a selection of galactic goodies, great for all kinds of hungry travelers! The Sliced Eopie Wrap and Anakin’s Starfighter Chocolate Piñata at Walt Disney World offer a taste of delicious food from a galaxy far, far away.
