To give you some background on me, I’m super type A, risk mindset, with a thousand questions on ‘what-if’ scenarios. I’d never been on a Disney cruise before, though I’ve been to Disney world 10-15 times. I’m the type that spends hours on blogs and reddits trying to figure out the best tree to stand under for shade during a midday Disney parade. Needless to say, I can be exhausting to deal with from a customer service perspective.
Not only did my rep (Cheryl) answer every single question, she answered them each within a half hour somehow? I’ve been a little nervous to take our 1 year old on a cruise, so I asked about everything… for example, it’s really hard to understand the balcony situation for the various balcony rooms aboard the ship- I searched so many sites and did not find consistent information that made me comfortable that I wasn’t booking a white wall or an open aired balcony with just a gate. Cheryl answered this one with ease.
I also do believe that I received a great deal on the cruise cost based on other quotes, as well as the OBC I will be receiving. But truth be told, I’d have paid an extra couple hundred dollars for the level of comfort it gave me not to have to worry about the thousand concerns I had, thanks to the expert guidance I received.
